Catholic Center Parking Lot

Parking is available next to the Catholic Center at Rutgers (84 Somerset Street). The entrance gate is open for Sunday Masses. For other meetings or appointments at times when the gate is down, please use the intercom button to request entry from the front desk. The exit gate automatically opens when approached. When parking in the Catholic Center lot, blocking in other vehicles is prohibited.
The Catholic Center Parking Lot is to be used exclusively for liturgies, gatherings, and meeting with the Catholic Center or St. Peter’s Parish. Parking in the Catholic Center Parking Lot for any other purpose (classes, picking up food, riding the train, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Any vehicles in violation of this policy are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
Gateway Parking Garage

Discounted parking in the Gateway Deck is available for Rutgers Catholic events, Mass, and other associated functions. Vouchers are typically available at the entrance of the Catholic Center and St. Peter’s. Vouchers are good for four hours of free parking.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE VOUCHER:
When you park in the garage, keep the ticket you received upon entry. Before you return to your car to leave the garage, visit a payment kiosk. First, scan the ticket you received when you parked. Next, scan your voucher you received from the Catholic Center or Church to validate your parking ticket (this waives the fee). Then, you can proceed to leave the garage in your car. At the garage exit, there will be a second kiosk. Insert your now-validated parking ticket into the kiosk to exit.
On-Street Parking

On-street parking is available along Somerset Street, College Avenue, and George Street. On-street parking is free before 8 AM and after 6 PM, and on Sundays. Parking fees must be paid via app per the posted signage.
