Become Catholic

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA)

Interested in becoming Catholic or in receiving the Sacraments?

Each year we welcome students who are either interested in becoming Catholic or who want to receive sacraments into our O.C.I.A. program (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults).

OCIA is a process for men and women to become baptized members of the Catholic Church. Candidates are gradually introduced to Catholic beliefs and practices. Class sessions include a presentation, opportunities for questions, discussion, and prayer. The Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church are the foundation texts of the program.
